
Lamplighter Book Fairs
We
are excited that you have an interest in placing Lamplighter
books into the lives of your students and their
families. We look forward to the change that God
will bring about in the hearts of your school family
as these books minister to them. Thank you for
partnering with us in this grand adventure. As you
prepare for this book fair, we want to give you
everything you need to make this a successful event
for your school.
Book Fair
Incentives:
Your
school will be invoiced at a 30% discount for
titles which Lamplighter publishes (Rare Collector Books) and a 20%
discount for all other titles. That discount
is yours to keep or to use for purchasing Lamplighter
books.
Scheduling
your Book Fair:
We
suggest that you schedule your book fair with a kick-off date
coinciding with another well-attended event.
This will increase exposure as well as boost
parental interest. Once you have scheduled your
book fair, please complete our registration
form (at least 4 weeks prior to your event) and
return it to us via U.S. Mail or Fax.

Books:
We have two recommended packages, both of which include
the Life Changing
Resources Package:
For
schools of 100 students or less.
For schools of 100 students or more.
Setting up
your Book Fair:
Presentation:
Your
presentation is everything! Many of our Lamplighter customers were
first attracted to our books because of the display. Sometimes a
basket or tasteful ornaments can make a book table more attractive. An
attractive display makes a 30% increase in sales
on an average.For

Pricing:
Schools and organizations hosting
a Lamplighter book fair must sell each item
at its current retail price. The price for
each item can be seen on the packing slip/invoice
that will be sent along with the book fair
shipment. Any shortages or damaged items must
be reported immediately.
Description
Cards:
Lamplighter
description cards in PDF version can be accessed
by clicking here. Mark
your description cards with the prices from our
price list, and then place the description near each
book represented. Please do not put price
stickers on the books as this may damage them.
Collecting
Names and Addresses:
We
will send you an address sign up sheet to collect names of those
who purchase Lamplighter books or those interested
in receiving further information. We will send them
our new catalog and information on new releases. This will keep
them informed and looking forward to purchasing Lamplighter
books for your next book
fair or Landmark outreach. Please return these
names with your return shipment. All unsold books
must be returned within one week of the end of your
fair.
Shipping
costs:
The school
is responsible to cover all shipping
charges for the books to be sent to you and for you
to return unsold books to us. Shipping charges
for sending the books to you will be included
on the packing slip included in the shipment.
We ask that you package the books the way in
which they came to you (please
note the arrangement of the books when opening
boxes)
to prevent damage. Most important is to re-tape the
bottom and sides of each box.
Payment for
books at the Book Fair:
The
form of payment that you accept at your Book
Fair is to be determined by each school. Please have all checks
made payable to your school organization. When you
send payment to Lamplighter, please make one check
out for the total amount to Lamplighter Publishing.
Your invoice must be paid within 15 days of your
book fair (minus returned books).

Landmark Initiative
Your school/organization may wish to use your Book
Fair as a springboard into the Landmark Initiative,
which is another opportunity which Lamplighter
offers to help raise significant income for your
school as well as providing a ministry opportunity
to impact your community for Christ.
